and a quick hello to you too. I finished up these three pieces over the weekend and am ready to get started on the two larger boards I prepped with encaustic gesso. I am always so hesitant to make that first mark on the clean white surface but have been mentally playing with images in the wee hours of the morning. I'm going to get started today and hopefully will be able to share a peek in a day or two (or three).

when you say "encaustic gesso" does that mean that it is different from other gesso? Would be interested to know. Thanks.

brenda-i feel a shift occuring already but am not sure where it will lead.
teri- the encaustic gesso r&f came out with last year has less binder in it so it a much more absorbant ground for the wax. you can find more info at the r&f encaustic site...
These look so promissing Beth, i especially like the little garned like painting...Can't wait to see how they will turn out..
