...one school function at a time. Sage (pictured above) is such a funny little guy. At first mention of any activity out of the norm (visit from grammy and pop, dinner out, school concert, etc...) he immediately pulls out the "fancy clothes". It was all I could do to keep him from wearing the still two-sizes-too-big sport coat handed down from his big brother (as a scientist with an exploding volcano it was bound to be too messy for a sport coat, right?). It is absolutely endearing and this smart little chap was a bit hit at Science Night. As we were walking out Phoebe (his big sister) looked at me and said "The tie was a good move".
Sadly, there hasn't been any painting going on here with all of this school stuff going on (which is making me a wee bit cranky) and the weekend isn't looking any better with the pierogi making extravaganza scheduled for tomorrow morning. I hope you've had a good week and I wish us both a few stolen moments to create this weekend....

He looks so sweet... I wish you luck for a few stolen moments. x
What a guy! Wonderful photo!
What a handsome and sweet little guy! I hear my husband used to be the same way. Adorable... I, on the other hand. Well. My poor mother was always trying to dress me in lovely skirts and blouses with lace collars while I preferred denim and dirty gym shoes.
he's so gorgeous! the tie does work well.
i hope you get a chance to sneak off soon too :)
I get cranky when I don't paint too. (probably it's a common artist dilemma)
Love the tie! Was the volcano edible?
Pierogi's must be a midwest food item? We had runza's in Nebraska...
oh my...he is soooo super cute. what a face. i love these moments the very best.
good job mama!
you are doing a wonderful job!
and the tie does become him.
much love,
c
Oh the tie kills me. What a cutie! It's nice to see boys dressing up once in a while. My son had a new tie that went with his Xmas outfil. He keeps trying to wear it with a t shirt. :)
Good luck with a stealing some painting time!
ooohwaaa, what a sweet boy! And so cute in that tie!
Oh. My. He is so cute, Beth!
oh my...it's all in that cheeky grin and posture. that picture is just perfect :)
Cute! I love that he likes to get dressed up. It's those little quirks that make little lives so interesting...
That's quite the good looking young lad, you have there. Watch out for the ladies when he gets bigger. And a smart one too, most likely like his mom.
