Their Hearts Were Light....

The sky was blue and the air was crisp when these women began to drift upwards.  They had encouraged each other and fed their souls with all life has to offer. Laughter, tears, friendship and understanding as well as  life's mystery and beauty filled their hearts like air fills a balloon and then one day it just happened...and it was good.

I love what you wrote to accompany this light-hearted piece. It's so beautiful and I feel lighter for having seen and read it. Thank you :)

I love the concept behind this painting! It is such a lovely way to convey the connectedness and commonality we (or I at least) crave. I always am drawn to the content of your paintings, Beth, your ideas translate so beautifully onto canvas. (- I mean wood!)

I agree with what the other commenters said! lovely.

I sent you an email this weekend with a jpeg, but it may have gotten bounced back. Did you get it by any chance?

thank you for the comments...
i was so happy to complete this piece as i knew it's ending 4 days ago but went out of town...i know i should write a bit more personally but it's hard because i tend to ramble so i try to limit/edit myself by only writing a paintings story once it's done...
