Unexamined dreams lie low in our subconscious full of possibility, promise and insight. It's as if they exist in a kind of limbo waiting for us to connect the dots and have that ah-ha moment...
Under a mobile of stars the box of past dreams has been opened and seemingly random ideas and words are lurking under the bed in search of understanding....

thanks katherine...i think the colors were inspired by your last few paintings and 2 straight days of rain and gray skies.
I love the subject matter of this painting! Also loving how the bed seems like the tip of the iceberg with all the unknown below... or perhaps as a 'vehicle' of dreams. The textures are just yummy! Wish I could see it in person.
