As soon as my little guy was out the door I walked over to my polling station and voted. Easy, peasy paper voting which I love. Now that I've checked off the most important thing on my list, I'm heading to the allergist with my 14 year old. This afternoon I'm planning to make a pot of butternut squash soup for dinner and will continue work on a group of small paintings for a local shop. And then, later this evening I will settle in (most likely pour a glass of wine) and watch the election results.
I hope that my guy wins : )

I hope that everyone who wants to vote gets to vote. I too voted in less than 10 minutes...as it should be. Those who wait HOURS to vote and stick it out are absolute heros in my book.
I couldn't agree more!
I hope your guy wins too! ;-)
It's a great feeling to vote. I always thank all those sufferagettes from way back each time I go to the polls. Happy Friday!
