A small step...

in the right direction.  I know for the past few entries I've been all "website this, website that"  and "it's so hard, my head hurts"  but without further delay here is my work in progress:  http://bbillu.otherpeoplespixels.com/home.html   .  If you have time I would love to hear what you think about the images, the writing bits and the overall look of the site (should there be more or less writing, info, images etc....)  I like the simple aesthetic of the template I chose and think that overall I'm off to a good start.  What do you think?

ps:  i'm off to chicago (right now) for the woman made show so i'll see you all next week!

Looks Great! I love the simplicity of it. Lets the art speak for itself.

i love the site design and think that its simplicity serves as an excellent background for the art, letting the art shine. Even though busy websites with lots of bells and whistles can be very unique, they often detract from the art for me.

Yours is just right.

hi beth...i think it looks really nice. definitely less fuss is the way to go. it is all about your work, and your work is beautiful.
did you do this yourself from a template?
enjoy chicago and safe travels...back home for thanksgiving i'm sure, and i wish you a wonderful one.

hi beth, i think it looks very, very good. since you asked for feedback i hope it's ok to give it. the typeface or size of your name... it doesn't ezpress the dreamy, calm, intuitive part of your work. maybe a different face, skinner?
but, that was just a little piece for me. mostly i'm so impressed, especially since i need to do this too!!
great work, Janice

Lovely new site!!! Love how clean and easy it is. I'd note though that your images look grey next to all the white-- are you photographing them using natural light? Your colors should shine like they do in real life :)
