FIVE....
Today my little guy turns a whole hand! I am working on buttermilk cupcakes with lemon cream cheese frosting while Sage builds with new legos, explores with a cool spy glass and models his brave knight's helmet. I'll be back in the studio tomorrow but for today the magic sounds of a new kazoo (along with the word awesome) fill this old house with joyful noise!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! A whole hand of years... wow, he is so sweet. Lucky boy getting new lego, I love lego!!! I hope he enjoys his cupcakes.
Hi Beth! Five, wow! I thought March snuck up on me, but Baby Sage turning five is really taking me by surprise! Happy Birthday, Sage. He is your spitting image! Cute! Bravo to you for slowing down your "carousel ride" (I'd like to hear more about that btw) to enjoy this special day. Cheers! xoxo - Annri
ps - the Nest is my incubating blog; too much thinking, not enough doing! ;-)
I immediately raced over to check out your incubating blog (even seeing the empty page made me smile!). I am so excited to see what you're up to these days (i still tell the sewing machine on the camping trip story...) miss you and rest assured the blogosphere will welcome you with open arms!
Katherine-thank you so much!
Really cute boy, great picture...and if I'm not mistaken, he looks like his mom, no?
Happy Birthday Sage!
What a cute little birthday boy! Happy Birthday to Sage!! The cake sure sounds yummy and so do all his 'boy presents' :) Have a great party night.
Tara-he does look like me a bit but more than anything he looks like happy go lucky third child who can charm his way out of or into any situation-we LOVE this little guy!
Brenda-the cupcakes were yummy and the gifts were a hit....Sage says thank you for the birthday wishes!

I've been gone, so it is a treat to read a lot of your posts at once.
What a beautiful little boy. I love children and although I don't have any I have been blessed to have some special little ones in my life.
Hope life doesn't get too overwhelming, it sure has that habit now and then!
