So, a college decision has been made and there is a mixture of excitement and relief in the air. Phoebe chose Knox College which is a very small liberal arts school not too close and not too far from home that is a perfect fit for her academically and socially ( i am so happy for her!!!). The school colors are purple and gold, which are not colors I have in my stash, so I ordered this juicy purple Malabrigo yarn to whip up a special graduation gift. I am all set to start the Asymmetrical Cable Hat from 'One Skein' and am still looking for a great mitten pattern to go with it (suggestions welcome). A small bit of handmade warmth to remind her of home as she ventures out into the world :)
